Is everything authentic?
Yes, mostly. Everything we tell you about the acquisition is absolutely true. If an amulet we identify as being created and blessed by a specific monk was acquired at a street market in Bangkok, Thailand, we can't fully verify its history before it arrived at the market. Also, we don’t work with bulk suppliers. Our focus is on collecting unique, one-of-a-kind items that carry real significance.
How do you find them?
We personally travel to sacred, hard-to-reach places to hand-pick every item. These are often collected during our travels while researching and documenting religious festivals for Holy Violence, our ongoing project to explore and capture the intensity of spiritual traditions. We never work with distributors or bulk suppliers—everything is directly sourced.
What if I want something specific?
If you’re looking for a particular item, feel free to contact us. We can see if we can arrange to find it for you during our travels or through our connections.
What if something is sold out, do you restock?
When they’re gone, they’re gone. Since these items are unique and often one-of-a-kind, once an item is sold out, we may not be able to find it again.
Are the mystical powers of these items guaranteed?
No guarantees here. We respect the spiritual and mystical traditions these items come from, and we share what has been believed for centuries. That said, any mystical properties are personal and subjective. We simply tell you the history.
Do these items have healing powers?
Some cultures believe they do, but we don’t claim that. We’ll share what’s been said about the item’s properties, but we aren’t responsible for any effects—positive or negative—that you might experience.
