Description:
Phra Pim Singh Paon Yheu Amulet, from Wat Sunthornpradit (Wat Bang Rakam) in Phitsanulok Province, depicts a powerful image of the Singha Lion “feeding prey,” symbolizing the unity of strength and nurturing. The front features a seated Buddha in meditation (Samadhi) within a double-raised line frame, with an inscribed character beneath the Buddha. The back shows the Buddha in the walking posture (Leela), surrounded by raised characters within a rectangular frame.
The amulet is made from fragments of the original Singh Paon Yheu amulets, with a reddish tint that enhances its historical and artistic value.
